Head of Finance & ControlsVanessa is Head of Finance & Controls at Valureon Global and supports the CFO in maintaining a strong financial control environment. She oversees internal reporting, reconciliations and control processes that ensure the integrity of financial information across the firm.
Her remit covers daily and monthly financial close activities, oversight of key balance-sheet accounts and coordination with operations and technology to ensure that financial records accurately reflect client and firm activity.
Finance & Control Experience
Vanessa has held senior finance and control roles within financial institutions and fintech companies. Her experience includes management reporting, financial accounting, control design and remediation of complex reconciliation issues, often across multiple systems and entities.
At Valureon Global, she leads initiatives to strengthen internal controls, standardise processes and improve transparency over financial data flows. She works closely with auditors and supports the CFO in preparing materials for the Board and other stakeholders.
