Head of Trading & ExecutionMustafa is Head of Trading & Execution at Valureon Global and is responsible for how investment decisions are translated into actual trades in the market. He oversees execution quality, market access and broker relationships, ensuring that portfolios are implemented efficiently and in line with our clients’ interests.
Working closely with portfolio managers and risk teams, Mustafa designs execution strategies that balance cost, speed and market impact. His work is a key part of turning investment ideas into real positions and maintaining the liquidity required by Valureon’s daily interest framework.
Trading Experience
Mustafa has extensive experience in trading and execution management across multiple asset classes, including equities, fixed income and cash instruments. He has worked through different market conditions, helping investment teams to navigate periods of volatility and lower liquidity without losing control over execution standards.
At Valureon Global, Mustafa is responsible for execution policies, broker selection and monitoring, and the design of routing and order-handling rules. He collaborates with technology to enhance trading tools and with operations to ensure accurate booking and reconciliation of executed trades.
